Ezefil 600/700 is a two component, expanding type, solvent free polyurethane liquid chemical grouting material which is injected into cracks and voids to immediately stop water infiltration. The material is fast setting and reacts specifically under wet conditions to expand to several times its original volume.

USES:

Ezefil 600/700 permanently stops water which is infiltrating through:

• Cracked or honey - combed concrete slabs

• Tunnels and dams

• Joints in concrete / rocks

• Canals

• Waste water tanks

• Sewers, manholes and utility boxes

• Pipe intrusions

• Basements

• Voids in pre-fabricated members

APPLICATION:

Remove all dirt, grease and loose particles from the crack, Crack should be clean and sound. Drill holes of 12 mm and above along the side of the crack at a 45° angle. The hole should intersect the crack midway through the substrate. Fix injection nipples in the holes. If the concrete does not have sufficient moisture to activate the grout then inject a small quantity of water into the crack prior to injecting the chemical grout. Mix  Ezefil 600 and Ezefil 700  in a 20 :1 ratio by volume (i.e. mix 20 parts of Ezefil 600 with 1 parts of Ezefil 700). Pump the mixture into the crack at a pressure much higher than the water pressure to ensure that the water is pushed back and displaced by the injected material.

Pump the material for one minute and then pause to allow the material to flow into all the voids. Watch for flow of material and movement of water at the surface. When movement stops, inject into the next crack. For vertical crack sealing, start injecting at the bottom of the crack and then move upwards. Re-inject, if required, to ensure that all void and sealed off. Best results are obtained when substrate temperature is greater than 5°C and material temperature is above 15°C. Clean the pump by flushing with  xylene, toluene or N.C. thinner.

STORAGE AND  PRECAUTIONS:

Ezefil should be stored in a cool and dry area. It can be stored for 6 months in its original unopened container. Material from tin cans should be completely used up immediately after opening the can. Ezefil  may cause irritation to eyes, skin and the mucous membrane; and is harmful if swallowed. While handling, all contact with eyes, skin and clothes should be avoided.
